The Rising Stars of the Supply Industry Gather at EMERGE2023

Earlier this month, the beautiful city of Savannah hosted over 200 of the Supply Industry’s up-and-coming trailblazers at EMERGE2023, ASA’s Spring Forum for emerging leaders. From a haunted pub crawl to a rousing baseball game, participants got to explore all that Savannah has to offer while connecting with industry peers from near and far. In addition to these incredible opportunities to network with fellow industry luminaries, attendees heard from a variety of expert speakers over the three-day conference.

On Wednesday U.S. Navy Submarine Force Master Chief Cash Caldwell tackled the topic of leadership, drawing upon his over 30 year career commanding over 10,000 Navy sailors to convey guidance and lessons for attendees to apply in their own roles.

Thursday saw speakers Larry Levine and Arnoush Javaherian address two key factors of consistent, confident leadership: authenticity and self-knowledge.  Levine expounded on the practical applications of authenticity as a skill to leverage in sales, while Javaherian spoke about how reflecting on the things that drive and shape us – values, character, and community – can form a foundation for lasting professional success.

Inspiring attendees and amazing speakers came together to make this Spring’s EMERGE2023 forum an unforgettable and valuable experience for all.
