Role Priorities:

Provides information, primarily financial in nature, about all Company activities that will assist management in making educated economic decisions about the Company’s future. Collaborate with the accounting and HR team to ensure deadlines are met.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Balance and record bi-weekly payroll.
  • Reconcile monthly insurance benefit bills.
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements.
  • Monitor periodic transfers from remote branches to master bank account and post transfers to cash receipts system.
  • Prepare documentation for input into the management cash disbursements system for branch expense reports.
  • Assist with business license renewal applications.
  • Assist with personal property tax returns.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation of returned checks in the general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with monthly sales tax reporting to multiple states.
  • Maintains the master accounts payable vendor file.
  • Maintain general ledger schedules in excel.
  • Assist in AP check preparation and disbursements of checks.
  • Assist with worker’s comp audit and 401K audit.
  • Assist Controller on special projects.
  • Book journal entries.
  • Assist with yearend field work and data gathering.

Role Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Business, Accounting, Economics or the equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years in a similar role.
  • Problem solver.
  • Able to collaborate with coworkers.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
