We invite you to apply to our Business Development Representative (BDR) opening as a Full-Time team member!

As a Business Development Representative, you are responsible for growing Reece USA’s customer base by driving sales and profitability and enhancing the team’s sales capability.  As the face of the company to the customer, you are instrumental in expanding our customer portfolio by generating new leads, leveraging the Reece USA sales process, executing customized pricing models and following up on bids – all while delivering optimized customer service.

Additional key responsibilities include: supporting key organizational initiatives to enhance the customer experience, spending time in the network and in the branch, and building the sales capability of the team members at the branch.


  • Ability to quickly establish a solid, positive first impression and build rapport quickly.
  • Proactive, self-starter mindset and energy to explore all avenues to find new customers.
  • Proven track record of generating customer leads from various sources.
  • Remarkable relationship-orientation and ability to establish meaningful relationships quickly, instill genuine trust, and exhibit Reece USA’s values consistently.
  • Commitment to execution and demonstrated track record of delivering on agreed-upon promises; strong organization skills.
  • Strong communications skills (written and verbal) with the ability to effectively transfer knowledge and deliver training.
  • Keen awareness and discernment; ability to identify prospects and co-create future growth opportunities with new and existing customers, and tailor solutions to address customers’ unique pain-points.
  • In depth knowledge of effective sales techniques with an strong curiosity to continuously learn more.
  • Demonstrated empathy to understand a customer’s situation, correctly assess pain points and identify value opportunities by asking the right questions and adapting to behavior and buy biases.
  • High degree of adaptability and resiliencey to meet internal and external stakeholders where they are, as well as to accommodate customer needs.


  • High School education
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record
  • Maintain a clean background and driving record
  • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
  • Professional image and presentation to customers and vendors
  • Preferred qualifications:
    • Sales experience within the wholesale and distribution industry
    • Experience with CRM & ERP systems (i.e., Salesforce, Eclipse, Mincron)
