The UX manager role will provide creative and operational direction and vision for Reece’s suite of digital products and lead the User experience (UX) team in developing useful, usable, and innovative solutions.  

 

As a UX Manager, you will direct the teams to utilize user-centered design methodologies, observational research, and analytics to develop solutions that will balance user intent, business needs, and technical capabilities to achieve elegantly intuitive experiences. 

 

As a key member of digital experience team, you will significantly help define and execute strategy, standards, and overall direction of the digital initiatives of Reece. 

 Responsibilities 

 

  • Craft a clear vision and design strategy for how a sophisticated feature set connects with one another, in partnership with the broader design, product development and engineering leadership team. 

  • Collaborate with product and portfolio team to craft, guide and execute product roadmaps and design solutions. 

  • Supervises and participate in the entire design process of our digital products & services from initial research, ideation, conceptualization, and design, to testing and validation. 

  • Plan research activities, build insights, reframe problems, and provide recommendations to enable UX team to generate and iterate on new solutions. 

  • Apply Service Design and Design thinking approaches to guide the discovery and conduct workshops internally and externally to understand customer and employee journeys, identify innovation opportunities and solve complex problems. 

  • Coordinates design sessions and activities with digital, product, business, branch, and IT teams for successful implementation of the digital initiatives. 

  • Create UX artifacts for future planning and project deliverables such as low and hi-fidelity UI prototypes using the Design system, discussion guides for research, insight reports, presentations, etc. 

  • Advocate for Customer & Employee experience and communicate UX team progress with business stakeholders and leadership. 

  • Build, grow and guide the UX team. Introduce and refine standard methodologies internally to continuously improve team skills, quality, and efficiency.

  • Attendance – Ability to maintain the scheduled days and hours, including onsite presence at the assigned location as specified.
  • Physical Capacities – Lift up to 25 pounds on occasion, sitting and standing for extended periods.
  • Operation of Office Equipment — Job requires operation of equipment common to office settings, including computers, copiers, and other office equipment, including Near Vision, Manual Dexterity, and working in proximity to equipment.
