Credit Manager

  • Perform complex analysis and interpret information received from corporate financial statements, D&B, NACM and other credit services to establish unsecured and secured credit extension
  •  Prepare and submit necessary monthly reports to management regarding collection issues
  •  Closely manage aging accounts and determine action needed
  •  Perform collection call activity for accounts within the assigned territory
  •  Review lien/ bond filing dates to ensure compliance and protect collectability of AR
  • Follow all required state/federal lien/bond laws for branches assigned
  • Follow up on disputes timely and work with Regional/Branch and salesman to resolve
  • Determine legal action when necessary, including direct communication with legal representation
  • Authorize placement of accounts with collection agencies
  • Recommend bad debt write offs, reserves, and legal action when necessary
  • Communicate regularly and partner with sales team members regarding collection matters and next steps
  • Address escalated customer issues as required
  • Visit customers and branches as needed which will include some limited travel
  • Complete tasks within stated service levels
  • Contribute to positive team dynamic

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent credit experience
  • 10 years previous experience in a credit/collections role
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and organizational skills
  • Spanish speaking preferred

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Demonstrated ability to drive collection results
  •  Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
  •  10 years of credit lead experience
  • Spanish speaking preferred

  • Attendance – Ability to maintain the scheduled days and hours, including onsite presence at the assigned location as specified.
  • Physical Capacities – Lift up to 25 pounds on occasion, sitting and standing for extended periods.
  • Operation of Office Equipment — Job requires operation of equipment common to office settings, including computers, copiers, and other office equipment, including Near Vision, Manual Dexterity, and working in proximity to equipment.

The range for this role considers a wide range of factors that are reviewed in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  At Reece USA, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Final compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$68,640.00 – $121,200.00

In this role you may be eligible for additional contributions to your total rewards package like commission, profit sharing, or an annual bonus. Total Rewards components may be subject to written plan documents.
