Job Description

The Product File Data Analyst(Mincron) supports the Waterworks division by ensuring products are ready for use throughout the network. Through your critical thinking skills, product knowledge and business know-how, you will drive constant improvement in products and data ensuring Reece can deliver operational excellence and margin improvement.

Responsibilities

Data Management:

  • Maintain products in Mincron system, including item setup, submittals, and cost updates.
  • Assist with projects which continue to advance accuracy and capabilities.
  • Contact reps and vendors to obtain price files when required.
  • Data retrieval and report creation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Regularly audit product files to identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies.

Data Analysis:

  • Extract relevant insights from product data to inform decision-making.
  • Create reports and dashboards to visualize trends, pricing information, and inventory levels.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements based on data analysis.

Process Optimization:

  • Work closely with IT and operations teams to streamline data workflows.
  • Propose enhancements to existing processes to improve efficiency and data quality.

Documentation:

  • Maintain documentation related to product data standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Train new team members on data management best practices.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Required wholesale distribution experience using Mincron ERP
  • Previous experience managing products in Mincron preferred
  • 1+ Years’ experience in Waterworks working with Mincron preferred

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical inventory support
  • Other duties as assigned
