Purchasing/Procurement Specialist for a growing Industrial (PVF) Distributor in Greenville, SC

As a member of our team, you’ll be immersed in the world of industrial pipe, valves, and fittings (PVF) and commercial plumbing products, gaining extensive knowledge and expertise that is second to none.

WHAT YOU’LL DO ON THE JOB:

Provide support to the purchasing department by helping with vendor purchase orders, branch transfers, Eclipse and Phocas reporting, and other general purchasing activities.

• Creating vendor purchases
• Assisting with PO approvals
• Confirming and/or communicating vendor pricing updates as needed
• Expediting open POs for the company
• Entering stock transfers
• Creating and maintaining spreadsheets and other shared documents
• Communicating directly with vendors on various issues
• Analyzing data for strategic decision making

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, or similar. 1-2 years of previous purchasing/procurement experience strongly preferred.
